Las Vegas \\ Urban Art \\ Murals \\ Vegas \\ Fremont Street
If you have ever visited Las Vegas, Nevada then you know the ever-changing landscape of Sin City. Constantly tearing down the old to make way for the new. The same goes for the artwork around the city. Every year the Fremont Street neighborhood of Vegas hosts the Life Is Beautiful music and art festival. Throughout this post, you will find some of our Downtown Las Vegas favorites!
One of the amazing trademarks of this event is all of the great street art! Since the festival began back in 2013 creators from all over the globe descend upon the streets of Freemont East and adorn the vacant walls with some of the most amazing creative images. The best part is that both residents and visitors alike get to experience the decorated walls long after the chaos rolls out of town.
During our yearly trek to the City of Lost Wages, one of our favorite things to do is see the murals of Las Vegas. We explore both the new art left behind as well as some of our old favorites. If you ever want more information on where to go and what to see, a great resource is DTLV Art Walk. They provide guided walking tours with tons of knowledge on all of the artists.
